The SGR Elite series amplifiers are the result of ambitious performance goals, extensive testing and years of product refinement.
Whilst the components used are of extremely high quality, it is the implementation of these components which is the key to the Elite series' exceptional performance.
PCB layout is critical when it comes to high performance analog electronics. Our 4-layer design achieves a perfect star-grounding system, and combined with the field cancelation topology used, background noise has been reduced to almost immeasurable levels.
The use of ThermalTrak output devices has eliminated thermal lag time, resulting in sound that is optimal from the moment the amp is switched on with no warm up period required. These devices also ensure high linearity and power handling, with a large output current capability.

Balanced XLR Inputs

- Field Cancellation Typology (FCT) dramatically reduces power rail and output stage radiation resulting in lower noise and interference.
- Careful layout and 100% PCB connectivity eliminates wire looms and messy "rats nest" construction.
- Ultra-sonic cleaning removes all solder flux residue and impurities.

- Custom low noise and low radiation toroidal transformer includes electrostatic screen and magnetic shield.
